Well HI! My name is Matt and I am the better half of this dynamic duo. The one thing you should know about me is that I have a terrible habit of letting my mouth or run my brain by 2 or 3 miles…Hence this blog. It is the product of my mouth and Mel’s ambition to make it happen.
I first met Mel when she walked into my garage one day. It was actually pretty random… I mean, there I was setting up for a band practice with a new singer, and BAM! In walks this red-headed woman with a loose scarf, orange beanie, and a venti fat-free vanilla latte from Starbucks. I didn’t know what to think, but I there was instant chemistry (If you had known me in high school, you would know that this is a concoction for shenanigans).
After several practices, I finally decided that she was worthy to be accepted as a friend, colleague, and most importantly…partner in crime.
This blog is sure to be an adventure of itself as the two of us attempt to take our normal interactions and convert them to the world of blog.
DISCLAIMER: Throughout the course of my story telling I may say some controversial or downright MEAN comments; however, I am mostly joking….mostly.
Mel’s added note: Matt is not the “better” half, I just let him think that he is. And as far as “partner in crime” if there is ever any crime committed, it’s on his behalf. I’ve simply been his good luck charm to keep him out of trouble with the law (It’s amazing what a southern accent, innocent demeanor and a pair of breasts–even the small ones– can do to keep you out of trouble with the PO-lice.)
And to add to Matt’s wonderful and much needed disclaimer: He rarely uses his filter. I love that. Other people–not so much.
